'Marin' - Stream sculpt

Despite its similarities to that of the terrestrial mosquito, the Marin feeds off of the adhesive red sap secreted from the the branches of a particular carnivorous tree, not mammal blood. It comes equipped with many smaller tarsus and feelers which are used to both collect and guide the sap to its mandible. The Marin spends a significant amount of time between feeding and cleaning, making it just as vulnerable to predators as other insects are vulnerable to being caught by the deadly sap.

This one was done on my personal stream with no previous ideas and a ton of boredom on Friday night, the Marin was born.

Viewer Linktuts made me aware of another word for mosquito in french is Maringouin and I totally butchered the pronunciation as I usually do with new words, so, the 'Marin' it is! Haha
